The Nimitz-class aircraft carriers constitute the backbone of the U.S. Navy's air power. There are 10 ships in the Nimitz class: USS Nimitz CVN-68, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower CVN-69, USS Carl Vinson CVN-70, USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71, USS Abraham Lincoln CVN-72, USS George Washington CVN-73, USS John C. Stennis CVN-74, USS Harry S. Truman CVN-75, USS Ronald Reagan CVN-76, and USS. George H. W. Bush CVN-77.

This styrene base with photo-etched details represents the take-off area with exceptional detail, the steam catapult rail and the Jet Blast Deflector (JBD) for the afterburners at the ready. You can use this model to display all the US Navy aircraft and helicopters from 1975 to the present, including iconic aircraft such as the F-4 Phantom, F-14 Tomcat, A-6 Intruder, EA-6B Prowler, A-7 Corsair II, F/A-18 Hornet and Super Hornet, and even the F-35 Lightning II.
